Karl Brown named 2010 UC Sustainability Champion


UC Press Release:Energy Efficiency expert Karl Brown named 2010 UC Sustainability Champion

Karl Brown CIEE's Deputy Director, Karl Brown was named 2010 University of California Sustainability Champion at the ninth annual California Higher Education Sustainability Conference held at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College in June. Karl was instrumental in introducing a monitoring-based commissioning program to improve energy efficiency of UC buildings system-wide. He was also honored for helping to craft UC's ambitious Policy on Sustainable Practices, and for his leadership in energy planning for the new UC Merced campus
