Achieving California’s decarbonization goals is now more critical than ever. Across the state, record triple-digit temperatures are stressing an already overburdened grid, while rolling blackouts and climbing electricity costs erode public trust in a reliable energy system. New solutions are needed to innovate our energy system and the ways we consume energy at home, at work, and in buildings everywhere.

Join CalFlexHub’s multidisciplinary team of experts from numerous sectors—including industry, utilities, academia, manufacturers, and non-profits—for the first annual CalFlexHub Symposium on December 6 and 7 from 9 am-12 pm PT! The two-day virtual event will feature updates on CalFlexHub’s portfolio of projects, information on the latest policies, research, and developments in load flexibility, and presentations from leaders in the space. Featured keynotes include the California Energy Commission, California Public Utilities Commission, and U.S. Department of Energy.

CIEE Associate Director Dr. Therese Peffer will be participating in the CalFlexHub Project Showcase: Residential Building Technologies on December 6 at 9:30 am PT alongside speakers from Olivine, Skycentrics, and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL).

CalFlexHub is administered by LBNL and funded by the California Energy Commission through the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) program.
