Failure to Execute an Award
If the California Institute for Energy and Environment (CIEE) is unable to successfully execute an award agreement with an Applicant, it reserves the right to cancel the pending subcontract and reallocate the funds for programmatic use elsewhere in consultation with the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) and Office of Planning and Research (OPR) based on factors like statewide need, priority areas of interest, or other policy direction from this Administration in support of its programs.
In addition, CIEE reserves the right to: 1) add to, remove, or shift funding; and 2) negotiate with successful applicants to modify the project scope, schedule, or level of funding.
