Extreme Events Phase 2
The electrical transmission system of California is vulnerable to extreme events in which complicated chains of exceptional events cascade to cause a widespread blackout across the state and beyond. The project objective was to find ways to assess, manage and mitigate the risk of extreme blackout events.
